Artificial Eyes are designed using highly sensitive mechanical photoreceptors, either restoring or enhancing sight for the new user. Upon closer inspection they resemble advanced models of droid optics, but are tailored specifically for sentient beings. While they typically improve the perception of their host, many feel they are disconcerting and draw unneeded attention and stares.
