Completely immobile, the TT-8L model must be carted around by its owner to its new stations. While it can still scan the area weakly while folded up, it must extend itself to make any real contact with those around it – due to the nature of its Cafri-constructed port. The droids are commonly used to offer an extra layer of security around public facilities, alerting its manager of who enters and exits.
